Daryl Murray is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University (BS). Daryl is the founder of Welcome Home Ministries and has a personal calling/vision for the Ministry. His experience includes street ministry in New York City, Youth Pastor, Director of East Nashville Cooperative Ministry (largest food bank satellite for Second Harvest at the time), and Case Manager for “Right Turns” (a nonprofit organization that provides permanent housing for formerly homeless individuals). Daryl has over 30 years of experience in serving the poor, and other hurting and broken individuals.
Deputy Executive Director
Kyle Duvall is a graduate of Belmont University (BM), Nashville, TN, and a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MCM) in Louisville, KY. He has more than 35 years of experience in ministry in numerous churches and faith-based organizations: Worship, pastoral care, staff development and ministry outreach. He has also served as an Organizational Development Consultant (ODC) for profit and nonprofit organizations for more than 25 years. He is well experienced in development, grant writing and fundraising campaigns. Kyle joined our staff in 2010.
Preston Bailey is an alumnus of Tennessee State University, Nashville, TN. He has an Associates Degree in Dental Laboratory Technology from H. Council Trenholm Technical College, Montgomery, Alabama. He was the Vice President and co-founder of Ronin Dental Laboratory, LLC. Additionally, Preston is a graduate of Welcome Home Ministries’ Alcohol and Drug Recovery Support Program. He is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist in Tennessee, and a member of the International Association of Peer Recovery Specialists. He is also a Level 2 Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) Facilitator. Preston joined our staff in 2005.
Jan Bailey attended Tennesse State University, Nashville, TN. She served 10 years with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Finance Office. Jan assists Welcome Home Ministries with case management services: She schedules medical appointments and counseling services for program participants, and coordinates transportation for transitional recovery housing residents. She is a Level 2 Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) Facilitator. Jan joined our staff in 2010.
Veronne Carter is a graduate of Nyack College (B.S.), and of Walden University (MBA). Veronne spent years in the music business, retail management and Human Resources. After working several years as a Litigation Paralegal with the State of Pennsylvania, he received his call into ministry. He and his family moved to Nashville, TN in 2014, and soon after, Veronne began serving as a volunteer with Welcome Home Ministries. He currently pastors a local church in East Nashville. Veronne joined our staff in 2016.
Glenda Murray is the wife of Welcome Home Ministries’ Founder and Executive Director. She has an accounting degree from Trevecca Nazarene University and has served the Ministry since it’s beginning in 1992. Her previous work experiences were all in the accounting profession.
Alicia Woods is a graduate of Auburn University where she received a Computer Science degree. She has much experience in computer software support and testing. Alicia joined our staff in 2014.
