Welcome Home Ministries held an Open House on October 9 to show the community its enhanced programs, which grew from 24 transitional and supportive housing beds to 39 total beds in 2011.
The new addition of 15 beds includes 9 transitional housing beds, and 6 beds for permanent supportive housing. Permanent supportive housing beds are available to graduates from a recovery support program in addition to Welcome Home Ministries’ six-month recovery program, as beds are available. The goal is to provide independent living with the support of Welcome Home Ministries’ faith-based recovery support program.
