Mission Statement: “To enter worlds of brokenness in order that all might experience wholeness in Jesus Christ.”

Welcome Home Ministries was established in 1992 by Daryl Murray, our Founder and Executive Director. In 1999, WHM opened our first “Welcome Home House” in East Nashville with 9 beds to support our 24/7 transitional housing recovery support program. “Welcome Home House” is a safe and sober compassionate community for men who seek freedom and recovery from drugs, alcohol and a destructive way of life.

By 2009, WHM owned and operated three residential facilities to provide a safe and healthy community of compassionate care for a total of 24 men. In 2011, we expanded our housing capacity from 24 to 39 beds. Our growth has allowed us to increase our services for participants by 62.5% (3 transitional houses, including a house for Veterans, and 2 permanent supportive houses for recovery program graduates).
