Welcome Home Ministries collaborates with many organizations like the Veterans Administration, Room in the Inn (Campus for Human Development), area hospitals and alcohol and drug treatment facilities, as well as churches and individuals. Also, we are grateful for our annual benefit golf tournament tournament sponsors and players (golf partners). Our annual benefit golf tournament greatly assists our ministry efforts throughout the year. Additionally, we are blessed to have the support of generous foundations as partners that support our ministry of outreach to men who suffer from alcohol and drug addictions. Here are just a few of our foundation partners:
The Memorial Foundation
“The mission of The Memorial Foundation is to improve the quality of life for people through support to nonprofit organizations. The Memorial Foundation responds to diverse community needs, assisting agencies that focus on: health, human & social services, education, senior citizens, youth and children, community services, and substance abuse programs.”
“The Foundation also strives to respond to immediate, critical needs that arise in the community. With assistance from the Foundation, organizations including The Salvation Army, The American Red Cross, Second Harvest Food Bank, Nashville Tree Foundation, and YWCA have received funds.”
“Whether offering ongoing support or responding in times of crisis, The Memorial Foundation will continue to provide valuable assistance to nonprofit organizations that are finding solutions to local community needs that improve the quality of life.”
Welcome Home Ministries received a generous grant from The Memorial Foundation in December of 2010 to support WHM’s “Alcohol and Drug Recovery Support Program.
Baptist Healing Trust
“The Mission of the Baptist Healing Trust, a private grant making foundation, is to further the work of Middle Tennessee nonprofit agencies providing health services especially to vulnerable and underserved populations.”
Spring 2011: Baptist Healing Trust Board of Trust announced that over 1.96 million dollars worth of grants were awarded to 53-non-profit organizations in Middle Tennessee for its Spring 2011 round of grant-making. Welcome Home Ministries received a generous grant from BHT to support WHM’s “Alcohol and Drug Recovery Support Program.
“The goal of the Baptist Healing Trust’s grant making is to increase the access of vulnerable populations to compassionate and affordable healthcare and to support and enhance the success of the non-profit organizations it funds by offering funding and consulting to organizations to support cultures centered on compassionate care.”
