Welcome Home Ministries provides a safe, clean and supportive housing environment that fosters healing, reconciliation, and recovery from alcohol and drugs. Our recovery houses provide affordable transitional housing for mostly homeless men, a “safe-haven” and supportive services for Veterans of War in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs, and permanent supportive housing for recovery program graduates.
We also provide direction, guidance and mentoring services for program participants. Additionally, we provide assistance in acquiring medical treatment with healthcare professionals, clinics and/or treatment facilities for participants with ongoing physical healthcare needs and/or residents who have co-occurring disorders (chemical dependency with mental health conditions).

Drug and Alcohol Recovery
Our A&D recovery support program provides a 24/7 housing environment of services and support for men who suffer from chronic substance abuse, who, painfully, often relapse multiple times during the lifetime process of recovery and sustainable sobriety.
Transitional Housing
By the nature of our programs (transitional and permanent supportive housing), residents are served 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There are six levels of progression in our transitional housing program that take a minimum of six months to complete.
Permanent Supportive Housing
Permanent supportive housing is designed for individuals who wish to maintain their sobriety in a supportive community. Eligible individuals who have successfully completed an alcohol and drug recovery support program must have at least six months of sobriety.
Veteran's Contract Housing
A “safe-haven” of transitional living
In January of 2011, Welcome Home Ministries began a new program of outreach to Veterans of War at the request of the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Home Ownership – Our future dreams include home ownership for those who demonstrate a sustained period of responsible living. Towards this end, we have secured some preliminary commitments from people in our community.
