Daryl Murray
Founder/Executive Director
Daryl Murray is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University (BS). Daryl is the founder of Welcome Home Ministries and has a personal calling and vision for the Ministry. His experience includes street ministry in New York City, Youth Pastor, Director of East Nashville Cooperative Ministry (largest food bank satellite for Second Harvest at the time), and Case Manager for “Right Turns” (a nonprofit organization that provides permanent housing for formerly homeless individuals). Daryl has over 30 years of experience in serving the poor, and other hurting and broken individuals.
Kyle Duvall
Deputy Executive Director
Kyle Duvall is a graduate of Belmont University (BM), Nashville, TN, and a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MCM) in Louisville, KY. He has more than 35 years of experience in ministry in numerous churches and faith-based organizations: Worship, pastoral care, staff development and ministry outreach. He has also served as an Organizational Development Consultant (ODC) for profit and nonprofit organizations for more than 25 years. He is well experienced in development, grant writing and fundraising campaigns. Kyle joined our staff in 2010.
Simon Smeddle 
Peer Recovery Support Specialist
Simon Smeddle is a graduate of the University of South Africa (BA) Health Sciences & Social Services. After years of battling addiction, he found freedom in surrendering to Christ and working a disciplined 12-steps program. Simon has 9 years of recovery and 3 years of counseling experience. Simon joined our staff in 2018.
Ron Johnson 
Case Manager
Ron Johnson is a graduate of Tennessee State University (B.S.). He worked with at risk youths and adults for more than 20 years. His professional experience includes coordinating learning and prevention services with the Juvenile Justice Center for referred youths and provided parental outreach, family group and supportive services (mental health centers, courts, physicians, school systems and Department of Children Services). Ron joined our staff in 2018.
Andrew Case
Organizational Advancement Specialist
Andrew Case is a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University (B.S.). He came to Nashville after experiencing God’s call to serve the poor in our community. After working for two partner organizations (City Service Missions and Room In The Inn), Andrew joined Welcome Home Ministries’ senior staff. He has experience working with the homeless community, housing initiatives for the poor, employment placement, fundraising, and journalism. Andrew joined our staff in 2020.
Glenda Murray
Accountant/Office Manager
Glenda Murray is the wife of Welcome Home Ministries’ Founder/Executive Director. She is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University (BS) where she received an accounting degree. She has served Welcome Home Ministries since it’s beginning in 1992. Her previous work experiences were all in the accounting profession.
Alicia Woods
Office Assistant
Alicia Woods is a graduate of Auburn University (BS) where she received a Computer Science degree. She has much experience in computer software support and testing. Alicia joined our staff in 2014.
